3 c( J( r3 L8 V) U% YOne night I had a dream
- v' F8 ?0 f3 ]$ r, k5 C  lI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
' n( h5 u9 W9 j- a5 D7 `5 G% q" jAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
. ]# x. g* o5 X0 kFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
: a2 j, P5 N2 None belonging to me+ M  ?" s, l1 f. x$ N# I/ E
and the other to my Lord.$ y4 d- V9 q5 P4 A, V( M) R
When the last scene of my life shot before me
/ u0 U) [, p( o- v  h* I- vI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
. j- k+ v/ ]; O) NThere was only on set of footprints.+ x9 [, |6 [- T  Y* ~! h+ C
I realized that this was at the lowest
7 z3 f( f; G- m( S: X8 \and saddest times in my life.3 ]7 n- h' ^+ A" D; I3 M- W
This always bothered me 0 M: K3 P9 ~: C, u' K+ l
and I questioned the Lord( L, J5 r9 l+ T
about my dilemma.
; d# V2 D' _0 y+ f& L2 _"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You," C% a. e5 J- Z* [4 }6 _* c8 E; s' j
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
9 F$ n' R. C7 }9 sBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
' d- i% B" @. X- \$ T8 Itimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
: W7 O' e4 R8 E; M; xI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
" H- ]! D, b) U7 i! o: e: W8 Tyou leave me."  |5 ~% N. M( s" ?0 ?$ e
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,3 o- I% l- W, N4 i; g- N
I love you and will never leave you

When you saw only one set of footprints
