P3 \8 y# EAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life. ( O' D5 C2 b" X/ R$ F; o8 |2 pFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, $ d" k5 k' q) Q! C* V: S( Lone belonging to me- M* M( q# t3 G1 M% T
and the other to my Lord. ( Q) p; u6 n: C2 zWhen the last scene of my life shot before me2 E( g. Z! M; g$ b; R
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.: x' T! Z- A" j1 Y: k* R
There was only on set of footprints." N" o) W0 e& C& m& l6 P) X" N5 B
I realized that this was at the lowest ) |+ w/ U9 B# n' c. Z( }and saddest times in my life.( Y! V1 o# g( d1 U9 j4 `% k
This always bothered me $ |( s; w6 j1 S9 T- G. a W9 iand I questioned the Lord % h9 i" N! U" P% o2 tabout my dilemma. n* z" w' j1 J"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, " K/ t! s9 j4 z: lYou would walk and talk with me all the way.! m, D3 K% I" g) j
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome ; q0 e8 y4 w" g: v; d1 S6 ztimes of my life there is only one set of footprints. 4 q5 l4 B' [- d+ ^I don't understand why, when I needed You most, / k$ `$ V! S. m% F8 ?9 _
