. o' d0 I5 Z" T5 F- _; _5 YOne night I had a dream/ w0 q3 e1 x* _7 f- s
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
8 @% P, k* Z! o% p: C; Q) HAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
* N- ~+ \- r! P) n- ^For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
6 r( Z! S5 b4 Y5 a& A! jone belonging to me
7 j/ q4 d, ^) \) B/ t5 F5 x/ Dand the other to my Lord.
, M0 ?, N' l; l' Z+ {3 m" ^! O* XWhen the last scene of my life shot before me. X+ t- f$ {+ L" K/ T
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.: `8 ^! |2 w  u5 N: \& d
There was only on set of footprints.
' F- U/ |, e; E  A/ p5 q- ^7 ZI realized that this was at the lowest
( ^8 H& x  w6 {/ A1 w3 Sand saddest times in my life.
; [" F' u) X+ Y$ p' hThis always bothered me
; [, c/ y7 U: Iand I questioned the Lord
$ I# ^# j) b* k. S! `+ U& }! h+ Zabout my dilemma.
/ N5 z  B1 b6 R) p9 N, k"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,, P. C! V. m' _% o! a- x) a
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
$ H5 m  ~1 p! L* wBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome # `5 t$ d, g5 H1 E! }0 ?$ [; X
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
  ?+ |2 M1 Q  X3 H2 C1 H! fI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
  ^8 Q1 ?3 P: p6 z( Wyou leave me."5 X: O- h! F) v& @- c: ~8 q& e
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

When you saw only one set of footprints
