OPEN ARCHITECT
OPEN ARCHITECT - 3-6 month project – Western suburbs, Chicago
The organization needs a senior resource who can serve as recognized expert in solving highly technical and complex problems. This individual must be able to seek out opportunities to transfer knowledge to junior technicians via formal and informal means. Must be able to design and implement benchmarked solutions to multiple, complex technical projects. Individual will provide technical solutions for advanced problem isolation. Individual must be able to troubleshoot and deploy various network technologies as well as be able to correct high level technical problems with various network electronics such as wired/wireless switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and SSL- VPN. Key areas of focus will include one of two: Network Security and/or LAN/WAN architecture and design. Experience in UNIX a plus.
*Individual must have a minimum of 8-10 years demonstrating leadership and technical expertise in the Data Network Services related field
*3+ years of experience leading technical aspects of projects
* Experience providing effective solutions to complex technical issues in the data network field
*Expert knowledge in own technical field
*Must have a expert level of understanding of the interrelationship with networking
