Hi  Linda,

Thank you first for being such a great contributor to Victoria bbs!

I'm looking for jobs in Victoria and currently BCIMC and MoneyMart are under my watch list.

Do you know anything about MoneyMart company or BCIMC?  I have a business graduate degree and a financial designation and actively look for finanical or risk management jobs in Victoria(mid to senior level).  Do you have any recommendations or referrals?

嗬嗬，我不知道楼主说的是不是我，我就上来搭两句吧。说实话，BCIMC我并不熟悉，而我对MoneyMart的认识也是仅从他们的电视广告上了解的，比方他们的Payday loan，etc。但是就现在的北美经济状况和就业形势，我会说能够拿到他们当中的任何一家的job offer都是可喜可贺的事呀。

如果你looking for的是mid to senior level，那你一定不仅要有一定的教育背景--商课的学历和金融证书--当然少不了，而且你还必须具备一定的相关北美工作经验。嗬嗬，没有什么特别的recommendation，如果你喜欢这一行，就go, go, go。

其他金融机构的招聘情况我不清楚，但是BMO今年是非常的谨慎，招聘和今年员工base pay review的情况都不容乐观。

对呀，现在我们都已经不求今年能增加BASE PAY了，但求保住职位就好。

I'm still just looking and didn't get any offer from the above companies.  Based on the current economy, it's hard to get an offer these days, not mention middle to senior roles.  However I don't want to settle for jobs that I will hate in the future, therefore, I'm looking for someone that I can chat about the outlooks of working there.  

I'm wondering whether you know anyone(maybe Chinese) who are working in these two companies? or maybe other investment management firms.
