$ q  c' ^& v9 |One night I had a dream
1 x; e5 i' j: {6 |% EI was walking along the beach with my Lord.0 P( i0 `9 Q  r/ K
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
+ i( p9 R3 g3 EFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
6 J" W# p) `/ S, D- {5 Aone belonging to me
# I% Q5 c* Q6 v1 Nand the other to my Lord.
# R+ d! w: R* {# v# X+ ZWhen the last scene of my life shot before me8 b: ^% z, H. w7 ]0 x
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.4 {: J7 ^0 ~% N
There was only on set of footprints.2 a( S( N$ L. t8 [5 T* l# A5 Q$ z
I realized that this was at the lowest 8 ]! p' h8 t* p  z
and saddest times in my life.
1 P# E5 C/ n9 S  f8 \This always bothered me . P7 A4 ?& z% z
and I questioned the Lord/ G' Z8 U! U  P7 T" O
about my dilemma.
, O( K' A! W, [: F! y& y"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
$ t, q, z& R2 r) Q& ^+ ~. h. l- \3 VYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
& k  J  }, E0 J# m3 d6 f3 ZBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome 4 y- Z$ u0 A8 ?: F: I5 _# R
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.5 t$ P3 ?* z0 N, v0 t7 D, q) p
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
/ h5 {) u4 ^3 V1 r8 z# Oyou leave me."- Y- _8 a( s) U9 G! Y# [; o
