One night I had a dream; g  ~* B7 G/ R1 v% Y/ A* V
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.6 N8 R; i" F/ }, J+ v
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.: ?+ |( S' j( s! c. {. f
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,% q- F! `7 ?& k9 D) U6 h
one belonging to me4 ?  s4 x' i$ q' H/ x
and the other to my Lord.$ z% s' z  W$ ~1 A
When the last scene of my life shot before me# ^, P, V' C0 E3 c% L) Y/ h
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.& u9 r3 E( z* y
There was only on set of footprints.
1 x' b7 m4 @9 E. e$ _& ^  sI realized that this was at the lowest ! u3 w, ~7 Q( z! i
and saddest times in my life.6 s+ {  Z: ]! r
This always bothered me - N& u" G3 }0 W& f  d! l
and I questioned the Lord
7 I: i5 A8 f0 \1 pabout my dilemma.
, D  Z: E2 k6 S' b( O2 @"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
, X9 ^: P  m  E1 WYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
6 F0 ~8 w9 C/ l7 V9 UBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome 2 }( ~$ @# J1 @9 `8 k
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
! Q- G& {  {/ Y" k( YI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
. I* t  E" ?  _7 K4 ?: v) M$ Ryou leave me."
7 J( }" H0 g+ @4 S9 p1 `: ?& H/ KHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
