Footprints in the Sand; W, W. ?/ F# t5 p

9 V  [1 C6 O/ `8 h6 ]* lOne night I had a dream* T( Z2 Q" P; W: S
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.+ }6 U: x1 N, x9 L  e) e  }
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
) }4 S1 A, ?7 z* w5 O5 EFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
. I9 t3 r3 G: m" ]' m. c: m) Wone belonging to me8 u; A2 h6 A7 X" ?
and the other to my Lord.
2 h/ o$ {; \- f/ N9 OWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
7 T' J3 Q9 R! o( X, YI looked back at the footprints in the sand.& M+ X1 n1 ]- L1 p
There was only on set of footprints.
! F: O& G. _2 W3 W0 bI realized that this was at the lowest
3 R+ F  E2 e  A, B7 v; Pand saddest times in my life.
# v  T: I# g. S; b* f) QThis always bothered me ) k3 F# Q, D$ E2 R8 s( x# m6 Y
and I questioned the Lord
7 n1 g: O! _2 Z- L3 L* f. dabout my dilemma.
7 p' j( p5 F8 @- z"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,- i4 X9 ]7 n8 z! n( u
You would walk and talk with me all the way.+ O! ]( O! |. H3 ]% c
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome . x# U0 ^. O% j; X2 R2 i% A1 T" |
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
