One night I had a dream
: b( F4 }9 h- @- C! A7 X% SI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
# @& a7 ]- J) a7 SAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
+ p  Q1 a) d! |) EFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
. d; F4 D" R7 G* gone belonging to me
& [5 R% I9 k% b0 N/ a+ u' @and the other to my Lord.
0 R4 }+ t" d4 z& V# WWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
. c) V( a& ]( D4 \7 [4 N! \I looked back at the footprints in the sand.+ O% Z" n" X$ o7 u+ Y% o, }3 A, Q
There was only on set of footprints.0 u# ?; c4 g( Q* j  O
I realized that this was at the lowest / A9 L& b0 y( R& d
and saddest times in my life.
; e& |8 ]! F* i7 _4 R4 [) jThis always bothered me
9 v0 M( @( a0 F! R/ l2 {) xand I questioned the Lord
2 C" f. Q$ r& f1 [  B, Kabout my dilemma.
3 N: X4 X+ Y* `* m- `"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
" }* T0 B! K& |* [: U) {1 q1 \5 U- qYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
+ g) r3 p1 k1 N! ^But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 2 F( ?1 a' U. q+ `2 Z& e
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.1 `1 g1 H9 ?( G4 _- d. A( H) i
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ' L; }2 v+ S6 e$ N
you leave me."1 p6 _$ E/ N/ ?2 p  A$ U
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,  W/ Y* }( ~: e) S
I love you and will never leave you

When you saw only one set of footprints
