. \6 D! N* b( s6 B% k2 G, jOne night I had a dream2 J0 `  b3 |% n1 }3 d1 D+ i$ P
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.. p# J7 U) Y1 L5 h
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.) Q3 l* g4 b& _  a
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,5 }. q9 T- q* d
one belonging to me2 Y) A) \! k% V. H8 d  e% J
and the other to my Lord.
6 _* Z' ?8 k4 K9 [% P1 zWhen the last scene of my life shot before me6 ^1 \8 H# o: b5 w+ }7 ^
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.. d' ?/ N0 \3 T5 x+ k# ^
There was only on set of footprints./ }  _+ `2 i2 ?
I realized that this was at the lowest
! i  N* L. w+ J" e9 b" b. ]and saddest times in my life.
7 M3 i. w5 u8 B0 u( r" r8 a1 {This always bothered me # u2 C# d! Y0 d. d3 K5 j
and I questioned the Lord
9 q* |, _, `! \% H( {) X! C* ?about my dilemma., D5 i: U! q, B! {" F) D2 `7 {: L9 O1 ~
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,4 e4 L7 T5 A$ d
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
5 l# T- f* {5 w0 B3 [$ Y, P/ \But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
6 I8 F. Q0 z$ @times of my life there is only one set of footprints.: b# M) z% ?: Z/ h3 E3 O7 {. S
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
) e3 ?" B0 x* I7 G* Kyou leave me."
& L4 Y4 m9 c7 [% ]4 T/ F  JHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,% [% C) R6 ?  I5 r7 j
