One night I had a dream
- F, p6 i$ z! ?+ d; L" R9 NI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
- V- O. T* r  eAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.+ P. a% `; `$ |; M) v; O1 ~# Y
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
# y* W+ d9 X, z, b  |4 P9 Lone belonging to me, ?4 H2 _0 }2 }: o, J) m7 \( Z) }
and the other to my Lord.) g% d" p9 o) Y& _' [3 i% D9 X
When the last scene of my life shot before me, h5 F3 ?2 w2 w7 f- ^7 k
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.7 ]6 p4 E9 P' y% n, d) C
There was only on set of footprints.! k% i" U' i8 t) w
I realized that this was at the lowest + h6 r" n' l4 k. P8 h# k
and saddest times in my life.
. }5 M6 ^2 v# G2 G, hThis always bothered me ! u6 X6 A) n* t
and I questioned the Lord5 p, `! c, J, ^" `' `2 M; D
about my dilemma.
: X# ^% g- D6 L  j% s"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,3 W" X, ~& w2 i8 Y- h' f
You would walk and talk with me all the way.5 f+ `+ a  I- a0 `5 o3 s1 |$ b
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
) q/ X+ i, i4 U) Wtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.6 t, g* F! \1 I; S/ B! s, ]6 `
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
- h  F! p$ `$ ayou leave me."
7 x2 j, H# ?+ j' n4 c6 z' {% _He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,6 e( R9 }. W6 h4 E
I love you and will never leave you! c7 K" s' E+ C
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
