Lord, 1 a% A$ F7 u6 ^9 V0 D6 ~, d' c4 G
having transformed
* p% s- c; b6 gsunshine and soil and water and seed,
2 X. A7 H0 Z3 Q3 F \( J* N' Uinto food upon which we are soon to feed, 6 |$ b; e1 C9 [" O. U7 E
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, ( n7 a* G6 W- k! I( X/ F
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.5 y1 O1 a0 [4 i6 M
We who came first and are ready to dine3 r4 p: i: F$ L! g' k
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
0 }# |7 s6 q5 U C5 ?8 e2 f' a/ Dbut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, : ~1 W& d6 h$ y; f9 \8 i3 V
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
& [, U+ w$ a) S, H$ {! J6 _Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
6 `# P. x6 z! K8 O7 s" \the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.
