Lord,
1 \$ L) a; d3 f9 f: Dhaving transformed
m' E% K' N/ S/ I7 S3 F2 G6 ysunshine and soil and water and seed,9 V+ e! Z/ c, a$ w6 P* R
into food upon which we are soon to feed, ; m( C. X* U9 n8 t% w$ v
we thank you for life and we want to stay well,
9 i0 a- |4 c1 hso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
6 P. l4 N6 T7 g0 O: q) eWe who came first and are ready to dine! p4 G+ n; \7 J) t% G& M {
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line, # w; L/ M+ i, f: M5 w& b# x7 s
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
& I5 V$ M6 Q2 J7 V) @we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
9 M$ v" s/ ^. y& zInstead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others 3 T, ]3 g/ m6 m ]# m7 ~5 V
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers./ V. f3 }2 d- F- P7 A
