Lord,
6 D H7 ?9 n) j3 R/ chaving transformed: o2 I/ F% W# y. X
sunshine and soil and water and seed,; T1 [5 N3 F; I- r, P$ ]
into food upon which we are soon to feed, 1 {: R2 q7 l- g+ [, R2 S
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, 3 J5 F. b( ?: E+ @7 t# L7 _
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.) ?: w( V6 U2 {( _6 y! q
We who came first and are ready to dine7 w! K2 L& u1 e' Z/ M' W5 E8 F
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line, 5 ~( Z; f" t( o9 q! j
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, 7 T2 V7 c3 h1 [! F' ?/ l/ c
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate. e' V9 q2 p1 E j7 }" q+ @
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others " n( H p2 O$ e. H
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.: B" {6 A2 I% Z+ x) X8 u

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
