One night I had a dream, U3 m4 A; r/ Z" K, P! j
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
0 @/ F4 J$ T$ M: k! ^Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
) e; O( e- M) p4 ^. h# H$ J# f* ~For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
3 K8 t1 }! I3 F1 N" i8 }one belonging to me
" T6 U) Z' I$ N. n4 A$ Land the other to my Lord.5 ~4 R2 N) U5 J! u* M
When the last scene of my life shot before me
8 ?' U! m0 ?# FI looked back at the footprints in the sand.! q" `( U( k! @9 T
There was only on set of footprints.
% X6 o; [* z/ T# E4 D7 W' KI realized that this was at the lowest
7 }" }" Q' X# R9 e" m9 n$ V0 O  Land saddest times in my life.
. L! |/ [2 @+ ]This always bothered me
& z+ ]6 M; O- wand I questioned the Lord5 i' A  n  u+ ?6 }4 t
about my dilemma./ |# R  B+ p* ]& f: X3 q$ C
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
/ u# |8 r' z# IYou would walk and talk with me all the way.9 k. t) v4 Z) E. ^) `, r
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
5 u4 _9 W6 [9 l4 jtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
/ {% A9 S/ z, Y; u* N+ O. @# }  XI don't understand why, when I needed You most, " @- m- x) W. y- _' R' S
you leave me."  p6 O' [6 H, N# b* X' C" K
