I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
: z6 q1 ^+ c1 O, jAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
0 K1 X& C' x1 HFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
9 I4 a; T( j. G2 T5 L( u+ n: Pone belonging to me  B, `, Z; E* {& X
and the other to my Lord.9 ^. g# p" s$ S4 ?! z0 w
When the last scene of my life shot before me
. Z3 u" Y2 P) |% i7 jI looked back at the footprints in the sand.4 y; ^  X; I2 l
There was only on set of footprints.5 }0 s8 X" ~# \4 d9 v, m& x
I realized that this was at the lowest 9 d/ r- X  q7 W1 I: g
and saddest times in my life.; R6 q9 m% k( X4 Q
This always bothered me
, U+ o" O" }% h" _0 mand I questioned the Lord
5 {5 {, c* k1 q( P/ rabout my dilemma.& y" c3 w# W3 D9 t
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
7 k0 U( x6 O3 U( }8 Q! V( j' H% j) {You would walk and talk with me all the way.
- b0 u2 J! T& n3 K% BBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
  D9 f, w5 Q! W; dtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
/ H3 c2 Q+ _) G: k- eI don't understand why, when I needed You most, # i& K! {/ ?% h, p6 g( W8 y. t5 d

When you saw only one set of footprints
