One night I had a dream
& u! [: J$ E! |/ i0 m2 D5 r. nI was walking along the beach with my Lord.- o. R, Q2 Y; X- |- ~
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.# _3 X& B% e6 e
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,; M: v/ [- n' `
one belonging to me) z4 \$ M/ P; a/ b3 n
and the other to my Lord.
+ C) }4 P( W( N) Q, \+ F( GWhen the last scene of my life shot before me+ r# z( V& u) M, l8 O% @
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
  M# n5 o% P3 G+ m3 P9 J) oThere was only on set of footprints.
: @6 K& I7 ^- ~. u7 y6 e% eI realized that this was at the lowest
+ z- t. T) [; u( f, u: m% `) sand saddest times in my life.! R) V& [& j  ]" y7 T: d
This always bothered me
5 I7 B: g5 Z5 fand I questioned the Lord
' r0 F0 c( u+ }7 k9 pabout my dilemma.
, R2 K" K, C# }6 l5 P3 _"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,. ]  M# S; T5 Q3 \1 S0 V
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
" Q) c/ B* G3 J: k/ w# h# iBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
  ?" ?' Q! N: ^# itimes of my life there is only one set of footprints." V2 c7 `: j9 n  a: Y) I5 c
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, / ^, F4 L! x" P1 M
you leave me."
! k0 j; W2 j6 F5 @4 qHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
  r" I/ [) U1 O) u: \, l9 k: aI love you and will never leave you
( X# g, H8 C/ fnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
