One night I had a dream  q  @  x  t3 h" j
I was walking along the beach with my Lord., S$ ~8 \; k6 V' L2 y" J
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
( K& y7 j9 N) G- p; O; V/ ]For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
; m$ }: l4 x! z( _' W' yone belonging to me
$ }# c' Y$ Z* N( S5 j: |and the other to my Lord.1 ?9 V& [% h  E  x/ u) C' S1 ?& P
When the last scene of my life shot before me6 ~" R( D4 g, X- A( Q6 \
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
, n8 v$ H8 i3 }There was only on set of footprints.
: C4 G& C) z  D! S% L; |I realized that this was at the lowest
0 d. d7 C+ z4 Iand saddest times in my life.  d4 a  x! b$ X' x1 p6 F
This always bothered me 6 n& t" s3 t( K6 n8 O4 K3 M
and I questioned the Lord
7 @' Z( L' Y# F3 V) H9 A4 ~about my dilemma.
6 m  N  x4 z4 A6 s7 ["Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
, q% j  R5 y* _/ N/ uYou would walk and talk with me all the way.8 B+ R: @8 K* _# J8 V$ G& S
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome / A' e9 P+ {1 W, N
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
" K" z0 C! B( \9 }! n  y$ }I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
0 q; u) R/ d, I: P6 E6 kyou leave me."
, q) J8 o1 M0 ^1 v: PHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
' ]& x$ K! j+ I1 A+ ~I love you and will never leave you
+ g) U  B  J4 t& X# c% Fnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
