In the six weeks thatfollowed, thousands of civilians and soldiers died, their bodies found later inmass graves around the city. / V; M: @# m |9 X% H4 v OnNovember 16 and 17, The Centre for Asia-Pacific Initiatives and the Departmentof Pacific and Asian Studies are holding a symposium on the Nanjing massacre.
