标题: LED 和 HID [打印本页]

各位高手，
俺有个小问题关于LED和HID，我知道安装HID是需要额外安装一个kit的，可是LED呢？应该不是直接换上LED的灯泡就可以吧？应该也是有额外的 kit 需要吧？跟HID一样麻烦吗？

据我个人了解，LED是不需要的。因为氙灯需要高压驱动，而LED一般汽车的12V足够了，这个看点烟，如果你买的LED灯是标准12V，直接连接到电池上绝对能用。建议你拿着LED的两个接线头触碰电池试一下就知道啦，再就是，LED灯是单通电流，电极很重要，电极接反了不亮的

I like the following explainations.

Think of an LED driver as ‘Cruise Control’ (like in a car) for the LED, and the temperature changes of the LED are the hills and valleys it is ‘driving’ over. The power level (or ‘Speed’) of the LED is maintained constant by the driver as the electrical properties change (amount of ‘gas’ or power needed) throughout the temperature increases and decreases (or ‘hills and valleys’) seen by the LED(s). Without the proper driver, the LED may become too hot (driving too fast) and become unstabe (out of control), causing poor performance (engine problems) or complete failure (crash!)
