I was walking along the beach with my Lord. . q% F! G; f4 y7 N7 {1 nAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.. s! `/ S. K3 Y0 d8 P( _& V
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, 6 a) @2 j. {( s9 a0 H+ }one belonging to me; |: j: d: X: o/ C, c/ X# \
and the other to my Lord.) g! x2 N C* K. R; J
When the last scene of my life shot before me2 T0 ^4 A! y- K2 T6 B
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.1 l/ i G; Q# J
There was only on set of footprints.: M+ `5 q" ^" f/ o) u+ R7 C
I realized that this was at the lowest 4 Z/ s, A& g& b! l' c1 Rand saddest times in my life.0 i# X2 `0 P; C4 T: n) o
This always bothered me , b; r. p. ~0 L
and I questioned the Lord3 k, u2 f+ `2 a1 [" r9 R
about my dilemma.# u$ Y4 K4 u |9 R# P# P
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,3 r! t5 L0 y. i3 N4 y' z8 h3 y2 E7 Q
You would walk and talk with me all the way.2 h1 y0 f/ \7 S
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome $ s& b m: _& x. K8 X) C
times of my life there is only one set of footprints. : r; r. H' r, U; [' ]1 s# b# `7 KI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 1 A4 q% q; J: P3 i' S+ a; b0 J9 D
