One night I had a dream% b( N7 x9 W8 |4 M  S
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
/ Z8 g) @8 V% j$ ~7 w' m& O8 cAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
& _( X7 F# `, M& l: XFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,$ p. y) f6 R, @. i5 u! d3 @
one belonging to me' w: w: T7 |- N5 ]
and the other to my Lord.
) U, \* X9 ]  b# M5 M' f" b( R  V0 gWhen the last scene of my life shot before me/ R( \* R5 \8 L
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
9 R7 W) D$ u. ?: m+ L1 lThere was only on set of footprints.- D( x! N) X6 s' p$ Z& ?
I realized that this was at the lowest , L5 L  }" D3 k0 X
and saddest times in my life.
* U# o* C) Y4 ^7 yThis always bothered me
) k6 b3 a0 L# z- z' ~% H, l( Gand I questioned the Lord. F9 v  `% r" t% D. M" ^
about my dilemma.
% G; [2 \1 ?, f0 ~, E"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
; c' c, `% c; ^3 S" j. GYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
# Z# b* s! o! w  jBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome . s$ n' R: K3 i& k, S0 z- G
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.1 f) n$ \- F9 f! S! O1 y, |! _
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
7 e1 P' x, i' Cyou leave me."! O& X8 X) S. i$ F, G0 j
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
8 Y0 a! Q5 a1 d4 @I love you and will never leave you+ r' {( A! ?  T9 w7 R9 [
never, ever during your times of trial and testings." }6 K5 n+ Z7 M+ p
When you saw only one set of footprints
