One night I had a dream, }( y3 i) s2 @
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
) ^. M% ?3 C, q, T+ {Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.* Z; O3 {* P$ T6 i. N# {% r; N
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,3 p+ B- m! \0 s/ ?) d; y0 n
one belonging to me
9 M( [: \; k2 ?" y+ ?9 U) L% oand the other to my Lord., _& H* G/ j6 A. S/ b9 R, ~
When the last scene of my life shot before me' g' P& q1 |! M2 [
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.  Y8 P3 Y+ f4 ]* f. v0 n9 M9 E5 T
There was only on set of footprints.
5 w4 O3 L  m/ h% HI realized that this was at the lowest $ }" @% f$ y1 v" V. M5 |
and saddest times in my life.
7 B/ H' E7 V( J, R0 r1 yThis always bothered me
5 y7 r" M1 i7 v! K7 a6 p; g9 C/ k: ~and I questioned the Lord7 n  V4 E* y- u" ]7 M
about my dilemma.+ Y4 ?* P! _0 u0 \
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
6 |0 t3 c+ z- y3 [) D  |' `You would walk and talk with me all the way.5 A' a- m/ v9 a
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
0 J# E( K- E+ S$ [* b% ztimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.4 Y; w" ^  L0 H# o; B
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
. M0 n$ H; s6 a: ], d% X) t: {you leave me."
; Z( g5 f, }  ?, w+ iHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
; _3 t) N2 q/ p& Q9 C* p9 j4 WI love you and will never leave you
( F5 B" t4 d0 t: M" I- z4 @never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
