Footprints in the Sand/ d$ K3 n) y1 }" h7 I& S
5 p* T8 w7 ]8 \; Q4 V6 [
One night I had a dream% J1 u: |$ h) L
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.' X+ p; a! `4 V. |
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.2 ?1 Z3 ]6 Z% c. o: |
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,! K" @* [7 x4 r4 n0 W' ^
one belonging to me
/ C. n8 L! {9 f4 yand the other to my Lord.
' J4 v4 Q4 `# J) A, d/ L$ \When the last scene of my life shot before me
. K: B/ K' M& B5 uI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
, ^  I, j# P* V0 ^3 aThere was only on set of footprints.
5 G- M% T9 i1 J- VI realized that this was at the lowest
& D  y* ~" l; w  [+ aand saddest times in my life.
# O1 f6 ~% `$ S% f' e' K6 gThis always bothered me
" A/ U& x9 a8 h( _( wand I questioned the Lord/ U( g) U/ i  q3 s' k/ b
about my dilemma.
' i+ ?) E' M8 g& a% _"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
4 f1 C& s. g/ K' Z4 j  T" g8 O0 ]$ tYou would walk and talk with me all the way.' s6 d) Z( n: D* A; {; f* h
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
; P+ J* k$ o0 A& W5 m& N  Htimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
3 }5 V# z5 R# NI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
; m# v, c8 L  b5 e0 U$ {% syou leave me."
- L- h& L6 g- Y# F% V4 wHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,! R- q" l8 _" p6 N

never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
