One night I had a dream6 O8 }* Q% j. \' a6 Z2 t
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
2 b% c' x( e: U# U7 Y8 SAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
1 D6 I  W. Y8 E. |7 o) D' p5 zFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
* B9 c' Y; o3 pone belonging to me
6 a0 E1 u* C, h- M5 H* Nand the other to my Lord.# Q! w% Q6 q  M9 u* ~
When the last scene of my life shot before me0 }8 l8 ^) s6 I  e4 q! v: s: m
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.6 y5 j2 B6 F! j3 d" G
There was only on set of footprints.) n9 r2 I9 L$ {8 A* C. z6 O7 X
I realized that this was at the lowest
, f" J+ P6 l- n0 H% P7 q+ w. v* Kand saddest times in my life.; M! |2 W# T( X9 b9 g; f% v2 H( g
This always bothered me
+ V2 K# N4 K9 l. e2 D: oand I questioned the Lord
. O5 I/ x  \3 j$ t+ g. S* R2 Yabout my dilemma.
% z6 M* ]0 E, ]* n3 {"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
( U) |# a# A% ^9 @% y1 vYou would walk and talk with me all the way.9 G3 ~' i2 x2 o- ~0 R
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
* ?" |6 X9 s* P( c; i4 k2 u6 Ntimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.( m$ ]& [  P$ s4 n
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
: e/ M+ X$ A  ?: |, O% k& L; Uyou leave me."- a6 D) G1 p7 ?3 e2 D4 t
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
