One night I had a dream
/ B" N( J4 m" Y, W7 m0 d3 {5 cI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
( b8 I: u; I; C7 r2 SAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.$ V( ?5 A6 [2 J9 B4 m
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
: S% x, V7 y1 ~+ x! `5 hone belonging to me
3 S2 n! `" `, l/ o" W: hand the other to my Lord.
) K$ v) ^9 t( eWhen the last scene of my life shot before me0 w& `8 S% ?5 d: |; k+ ^1 t  n9 s
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.% L7 W; L5 l- ?9 h0 ^
There was only on set of footprints.! S0 U' I* Q$ V7 v  @; k% x3 }; b& w
I realized that this was at the lowest
1 W$ r& p2 y. band saddest times in my life.3 Y  A/ J& s6 m4 h' H# I
This always bothered me ) n8 U' T- K) {* }
and I questioned the Lord
( g$ {8 D2 V/ p1 R9 l$ Nabout my dilemma.4 m* z& Z; D& L
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
6 ?5 r9 h' }( e# V" s) F: RYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
" A# z8 ~0 P0 V7 {But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
- u1 N; J. S& Atimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
$ u1 ]! s9 E3 W0 h1 r* ZI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
& W. [) E* ^9 G( y8 b+ lyou leave me."
3 s: {9 i" z  A" K& {" N" GHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,: ~4 o# ]) u: ~4 ~' J* e  f' [# ~
I love you and will never leave you
+ \/ Q# ~; T) s% b; snever, ever during your times of trial and testings.2 p7 b. r& X2 a- q  L
When you saw only one set of footprints
