9 v) h8 Q6 U2 `) F0 S- F& eOne night I had a dream
. u  O1 v. ]# y1 H% i) \I was walking along the beach with my Lord./ K- G+ i9 q( @4 Z  Y
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.* z" d( {; W" _
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,) O; p9 ]1 x3 b* _3 J* d4 `& w
one belonging to me+ e# t0 m7 e. J6 k# [3 J
and the other to my Lord.0 j. t5 i3 S( w# W
When the last scene of my life shot before me# g; i( D6 c  S1 i3 c9 U8 h
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
- ~. q: N% d" Y4 J7 T# GThere was only on set of footprints.4 E! U' E  l3 U/ l" S1 G: M8 J- Y
I realized that this was at the lowest , L0 e* Y! h9 e
and saddest times in my life.0 [; N  [$ |8 T. G  ~. R  t
This always bothered me 7 B% U- a- A9 y* E3 }* `" I: M
and I questioned the Lord
. ?7 D' d) V" I1 _- ]. r5 Pabout my dilemma.( i1 o$ f, ]  [, g. o' ^3 }
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,5 C/ `# O+ |) f; _2 a! W
You would walk and talk with me all the way.& Y( {; N9 i, b( Z8 Z( m9 a
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
4 z& R: p' I2 P8 K7 g3 _, @! ctimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.+ r3 W' N/ `3 g8 S, W- T( w/ n6 C
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
: O7 {# D% |; G/ H6 Z* z" Lyou leave me."+ q; x) w# Z' S4 Y+ f0 @* Y% L, [
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
1 `& P& E5 t9 JI love you and will never leave you( j+ _% d2 t7 A9 ~" @! E+ {
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
